Chicago logistics
Planning an activation in Chicago
Chicago shows are big and run on strict rules. Here’s how we plan around them.
Freight contractor & marshalling yard
McCormick Place shows bring freight in through the official contractor and a marshalling yard. At IMTS we handled both, in and out.
Show labor rules
Chicago venues have clear rules on who can move and set up equipment. We plan setup with your show contractor ahead of time.
Power & internet specs
We send exact footprint, power and internet requirements early, so your electrical and booth orders are right the first time.
Set up before opening day
For big shows we set up and test before the doors open, so your booth is ready when attendees arrive.
Leaderboards for long shows
Multi-day shows reward repeat visits. A live leaderboard brings players back to beat the top time.
Staffed from start to finish
Our brand ambassadors run the experience, coach players and manage lines, then pack out on the venue’s schedule.

Questions
Chicago event entertainment FAQ
Do you provide trade show and corporate event entertainment in Chicago?
Yes. We deliver, set up, staff and run interactive experiences at Chicago trade shows, conventions and corporate events, including McCormick Place, Navy Pier, Rosemont and downtown hotels.
Can you work inside McCormick Place?
Yes. At IMTS 2026 we shipped two racing simulators to McCormick Place through the show’s freight contractor, set them up before opening day, staffed the full show and handled move-out through the marshalling yard.
What are good trade show booth ideas for a Chicago show?
Give attendees a reason to stop and come back. Racing simulators with a live leaderboard, VR games and golf challenges pull people off the aisle and turn a quick visit into a week-long competition.
How early should we plan for a McCormick Place show?
As early as you can. Freight deadlines, labor orders and booth power all have cut-off dates. Send your exhibitor kit and we’ll plan around them.
What do you need from the venue?
Floor space for the experience and its line, a power connection and, for some experiences, internet access. We send the exact requirements for your order so you can include them in your venue or show orders.
Can the experiences be branded for my booth or event?
Yes. Screens, game graphics, leaderboards, floor banners and equipment wraps can carry your logo and campaign creative. We confirm branding options for each experience in your proposal.
